THE LEGEND
Right, the idea here is to hopefully keep it simple! whether or not I've achieved that aim remains to be seen? Below are all the abbreviations used in the charts on the previous page, I am assuming that a lot of them will be self explanatory but by also using this legend you should be able to make sense of the others. To use the first entry as an example -
| HW 70 = Hawkwind = The album in question is "Hawkwind" and it was released in 1970 |
You'll also notice some colour coding and the explanation to this is -
| = An official core album | |
| = A Live album, official or otherwise | |
| = A compilation album, official or otherwise | |
| = As yet unreleased albums! | |
Obviously to try and keep things a little simpler I've kept it to just those four categories, should there be another one for the plethora of half live - half studio albums that the band released? maybe but for our purposes here they will come under core albums, also should official live albums share the same space (or colour!) as those iffy unofficial ones, whether you like them or not they're all live albums so that's the category that they will come under. |
