It is with great pleasure that the museum is pleased to host some more exclusive Hawkfest pictures this time from the legendary Samantha Fitzpatrick a.k.a Hawkmum . Whilst in the process of getting her own Hawkwind site off the ground Sam kindly agreed to being the museum's "official" correspondent at the event and here are some pictures that she took. I believe that there may also be a report on proceedings at the fest in the pipeline (hint, hint), but for now feast your eyes on this great collection of photos!

So here's the big top where most of the action took place, on the right we see a motley assortment of Hawkfolks inhabiting it. Have to say that looks remarkably like a West Ham top being worn by the kid in the left of the shot, looks like Steve Starfarer wasn't the only Hammers fan their then!

One of the great things about the Fest was how everybody was made to feel welcome, here we see Sam's kids having a right royal time in the play areas and it wasn't only the children and grown ups who were made to feel welcome -

I mean even Satan's dog was free to join in the fun
